In the studio.

EVN CERAMICS began as a quiet curiosity back in Berkeley—a long-held dream finally brought to life when I first sat at the wheel. Those early pieces were wobbly, leaning in ways I never intended, but each one felt like a small victory. If it stood, it was a masterpiece.

Years later, that desire to create with my hands has found its rhythm in Portland, Oregon, where pottery remains both a mindful ritual and a test of patience. I embrace the imperfections—the fingerprints, the subtle asymmetry, the unexpected marks that make each piece uniquely its own. My work leans into a wabi-sabi sensibility, finding beauty in the raw and the refined, the accidental and the intentional.

With a background in fashion design, I’ve spent my career refining an aesthetic eye—shaping silhouettes, balancing color, and considering the relationship between form and function. Pottery is an extension of that same creative instinct, but one that slows the process down, making space for intuition, experimentation, and imperfection.

EVN CERAMICS is a collection of pieces meant to be used, held, and appreciated for their honest character—crafted by hand, made to be lived with.
